We are excited to welcome you to our 1890s workers' cottage. In our home, you will experience artworks by Tasmanian, Australian & International artists.
The cottage is on Bathurst Street in Hobart. The Pigeon Hole cafe is just around the corner, renowned restaurant Templo a few blocks away, and our favourite bar Sonny a few minutes walk away.
You can also walk to the MONA ferry pier, Salamanca and Battery Point from our home.
The cottage is light-filled, heated and equipped for cooking.The cottage has been carefully revived to reveal original features including the original beautiful Tasmanian oak floorboards, stained window, and fireplace features. We are located within the Hobart Heritage Precinct.
This space has been curated for you as a contemporary art experience. There are currently a number of artworks from Tasmanian, Australian and International artists in our gallery home.
The space is equipped with modern electrical heaters, a functional kitchen, and beautiful soft furnishing.
We hope you enjoy your artstay.You will have access to all parts of our beautiful cottage, including the sunny north facing front deck, perfect for an afternoon coffee.
Please note that the cottage does not have access to a backyard.
Please also note that there is no blind on the bathroom window, but there is a shower curtain that can be pulled across to provide privacy.
There are a number of free all-day parking spots on the street.The main room has a queen bed and the second bedroom has a double bed.
Please note that the second bedroom does not have windows.
We have heaters in all rooms and electric blankets.
This is our home away from home. We hope you love it.
