Blac Fig started as a small corner store in Sandy Bay back in 1991. Today, it’s one of Hobart’s favourite places to shop for fresh, local food. The owners come from a proud Greek background, and the store is built on strong family values and a love of good food.
Inside, you’ll find everything from homemade gelato and fresh pastries to ready-made meals, fruit, veggies, meats, cheeses and wine. Most of it is made in-house or comes from local Tasmanian producers. The team really knows their stuff, and they’re always happy to help whether you’re planning a meal, hosting a get-together or just grabbing something quick for dinner.
